30th October - 1st November: What did you do in half-term week?

If you find some willing volunteers to empty the Church . . .


. . . by moving all the pews into the hall and removing anything portable . . .


. . .you can clean and polish the Church floor . . .


. . . them move everything back, and empty the contents of the hall into the Church . . .


. . .you can clean and polish the hall floor as well. A fantastic result! Many thanks to all involved.


27th October

A double celebration as Evelyn Rosemary and Natalie Marie were welcomed into the Lord's family. The girls are daughters of longstanding choristers Sam and Hannah.

20th October

As the culmination of the Stewardship campaign, signed pledges were presented to God at the alter.

19th October

The Quiz 'n' Chips evening was won by the Saints and Sinners with an impressive 12 point lead. The wooden spoon was won by the Magnificent 7 who scored a not insignificant 104 points. (Click here for results). The charity raffle raised £150 for the Oxfordshire Air Ambulance.

6th October

Harvest Festival was celebrated with a Choral Evensong followed by a bring & share meal.

30th September

St John's Guild outing to Notcutts Garden Centre in Nuneham Courtenay was much appreciated as it gave the opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping.

29th September

Instead of the usual sermon, Craig and Keith presented a financial review of the parish and launched the Stewardship campaign.

21th September

The first Quiz 'n' Chip evening of the new season was won by The Choir with 124 points, narrowly beating The Heretics (123 points) and The Quizlings (122 points).
