Advent Appeal

Online Advent Calendar

Christians across the world are being invited to celebrate the season of
Advent through an interactive, multilingual online calendar. The website adventword.org went live on Advent Sunday in nine languages including, for the first time, Arabic. You can join Christians around the globe to create together an advent calendar with images shared by your mobile phones. AdventWord is a new twist on this old theme: sign up to receive a daily meditation. Recipients are invited to submit a photograph in response on their social media account with the hashtag #AdventWord. The photographs are pulled together in real time to create a living Advent calendar. You can then use this in your prayers. http://adventword.org/

Wednesday Fellowship

Lunch and transport must be pre-booked on the Monday before the event at the latest. To do so please contact: EK on 01235 415202 or e-mail emma-kathleen@hotmail.co.uk

Sunday Parish Breakfast

Every Sunday at 8.45am there is a Parish Breakfast in church. This follows the 8.00am service, and leads into the 10.00am service. The breakfast gives us a chance to make friendships and be encouraged in our faith, over a nice filter coffee or leaf tea and warm croissants.

Everyone is welcome

Prayers for Healing

At the 10.00am Eucharist members of the congregation are able to come to the prayer desk in the Prayer Corner either directly before or directly after receiving Communion, when a member of the Ministry Team will be available for prayers for healing with laying on of hands. It is also possible to use the Prayer Corner after the service has ended and any Ministry Team member is available on request, to listen and to pray.

If you would like to receive this news-sheet in printed form - please come to Church to collect it.
